Baking Rice bubbles slices

Today Room 8 did some baking. We baked Rice bubble slices it was an easy recipe to make. We found out that it's just like a Lcm bar.

George Floyd
I can’t breathe as George Floyd said for his last words. Everyone saw and recorded the death of George Floyd. The black community was pissed and made a protest For Justice. They protested because they wanted to stop the police from killing black people and if they did they needed to go to jail and wanted to change the law. People saw the death of George Floyd. They stood there and did nothing because the police were threatening them with a gun. So they stood back. After that Derek Chauvin, the racist police man put his dirty knee onto George Floyd’s neck and made him suffocate his breathing. Derek Chauvin stayed like that onto George Floyd's neck for the next 8 minutes. Then he passed away. Later than 4 police went to jail for murdering George Floyd.

Protesters

When protesters saw George Floyd's death then they immediately wanted to protest for their rights. And demand that Derek Gauvin must be arrested. The protest grew all around the world. They all wanted to change the laws to help to protect the black community. Also in America, all of the 50 states protested and over 18 countries protested.

Slavery

Slavery was owned by whited farmers and treated them very unfairly and killed them. More than 400 years ago. The ‘N’ word was made up. The ‘N’ came from the slavery 400 years ago. The white people used the black people like they were hopeless. So then the white community abused them and called them ‘N’ word so they can hurry up and do their commands such as picking cotton on plantations and digging up crops. They all wanted to protest so they wouldn’t be treated like trash. But they weren’t allowed to protest their rights. And killed black people.

Unfair Jail Sentences
If an white person does a really bad thing like murder then they have would at least be a life sentences but instead it’s like 20 years. Compared to black people they will go to jail for 80 years or for life. And if it was little like burglary and they would get a harsher year to jail. Like this balck man that was committed to 2nd-degree murder and the white polices treated him with water.
